My name is Tokiko Morishima.
I was born in Japan and raised in the UK. I am based in East Dulwich, South London.
I have over 25 years experience in the the design/publishing/digital industry.
I was one of the first authorised QuarkXPress trainers in the UK and attended the launch of Photoshop 1.0 (!) Later at Dorling Kindersley, I was DTP Manager for the UK’s first totally digital cartography studio.
I worked for nearly a decade as Designer Manager at OPG as well as periods with DK, Quarto and Pavilion. I have been successfully freelancing for many years. In parallel to my publishing work I also design websites for local businesses.
I have a studio at home but from time to time I like to work in-house with my clients. I find working with a team on a book energising and take great satisfaction in creating together books that are both beautiful and functional.
